My mother started teaching home economics in elementary school and divorced
her husband who came back from Siberia. And she fell in love with my father,
whom she met in elementary school, and remarried him in 1951. She aimed
to be an independent woman who could balance work and family in the free
air after the war, but ...
I traveled from Nara to Kobe in the summer of 2007 for "Arrival after War". I visited several ponds in search of the pond where my mother and father dated in a photo, but could not identify it. So I added photos of my young-day waterside date and I had a work where my mother and I dated my father.
