My mother and her family moved from Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture to Manchuria in late 1933. I made a real trip in 2004 and 2005 by visiting their addresses in Manchuria. I was invited by old family photos to listen to people who knew my mother and hunt for photos and literature about Manchuria. The sight in my brain when I finally arrived at the place where my mother lived! That was the picture I wanted to take the most.
